Mobile Command and Emergency Management Information

A little Background…

My name is Christopher Cormier.

Not the ‘Mr. Universe’ Chris Cormier, in fact, if I’ve been doing my job, there is little chance you’ve heard of me at all.

You might be wondering why I started this website. For the last few years I’ve been integrating phone, data, video, satellite and radios into command vehicles for a government contractor. Prior to that, the best way to describe me was as a troubleshooter, finding answers and fixing problems for both communication vendors and production companies.

I worked with dozens of agencies across the country to find out their needs and to provide them with a usable command platform within their budget. I learned a lot about Emergency Management and the way Government works in that short time. The one thing I learned is the people who make Emergency Management their business take it very seriously.

Unfortunately, this community tends to be very widely dispersed and lacks the resources and support that come from a community of like minded people. In some areas Emergency Management might consist of one old firefighter and a pick-up truck. You know I’m not joking here.

I’d just like to provide a clearinghouse for information and resources for the Emergency Management Professional and the vendors that these people depend on. If you have any questions feel free to fill out the contact form.
